Eddyfi Win Award as the Global NDT Equipment Company 2014

Eddyfi is proud to announce that Frost & Sullivan, the Growth Partnership Company, has recognized Eddyfi as this year’s Global Nondestructive Test Equipment Emerging Company of the Year.

This prestigious award was presented to Eddyfi following a rigorous nondestructive testing (NDT) equipment market competition comparison analysis by Frost & Sullivan based on five criteria:

• Growth strategy excellence
• Growth implementation excellence
• Degree of innovation with products and technologies
• Leadership in customer value
• Speed of response to market needs

In its press release, Frost & Sullivan explains: “The company has experienced remarkable success by addressing an unmet need for customized products for applications, rather than simply offering generic products that worked well only in certain applications.”

In four years, Eddyfi has grown from a five-employee start-up to an 80-employee company by expanding its application scope from surface inspections in the power generation industry to both surface and tubing in power generation, oil and gas, aerospace, and mining. The company invests 20 to 25 percent of its revenue in research and development, and dedicates approximately 40 percent of its staff to new product development.
