Inaugurating the New Eddyfi Technologies Headquarters

Yesterday took place the inauguration of the brand new Eddyfi Technologies complex, the culmination of a project from a CA$14 M investment. The complex features R&D and training centers, as well as a production unit.

Located in the Espace d’innovation Michelet, the new building helps radiate the Eddyfi Technologies brand internationally. With its 5000 m2 (54 000 ft2), the LEED-certified building is a stimulating workspace, that places employees right in the middle of a living, dynamic, and balanced professional environment.

“Eddyfi has grown tremendously since its foundation late 2009. Our people and their knowledge were instrumental in pushing back technological boundaries, positioning ourselves as a major player in the industry, and opening new markets for our products. All that from Québec. We wanted the design of this real estate project to align itself with our top-of-the-line positioning and act as an attractor for new talent to Québec,” declared Martin Thériault, president and CEO of Eddyfi Technologies.

This new building also offers its occupants several amenities: gym room, beach volleyball court, collaborative work spaces, R&R zones, and active workstations for every single employee. “The challenge of hiring new talent is very real. There’s currently a war going on over talent. When we drew up the plan to move Eddyfi Technologies, we made a point of placing our employees’ well-being at the center, from design and layout standpoints. We felt strongly that we should offer our staff an outstanding work environment where they’d be happy and feel stimulated. I think we succeeded,” added Martin Thériault.
