Pulsed Eddy Current Array (PECA) Probe

Productivity like you’ve never seen before

Eddyfi Technologies has revolutionized Pulsed Eddy Current Array (PECA™) testing with a probe specifically engineered to maximize productivity for the detection of Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) and Corrosion Under Fireproofing (CUF) in pipes, vessels, sphere legs, and so much more.

Details

This groundbreaking PECA probe makes CUI and CUF inspections as much as 10 times faster than single-element PEC probes! The six-channel array probe can be configured to inspect external diameters from 152 mm (6 in) to flat surfaces.

It works through fiberglass, plastic wrap, concrete, and any non-ferrous material wall thicknesses 6-25 mm (0.25-1 in), insulation (0-102 mm (0-4 in), stainless steel and aluminum weather jackets.

Never Been this Fast

Ready, set…done! This 6-element PECA probe is capable of covering 457 mm (18 in) in a single pass. Eddyfi Technologies PECA probe’s wide coverage not only makes inspections faster, but also minimizes inspection preparation with Grid-As-U-Go™. This dramatically reduces gridding times compared to typical, single-element PEC. Displaying C-scans has never been this fast, improving overall inspection productivity as much as 10 times!

Eddyfi Technologies’ PECA probe can be found across various industries inspecting complex structures and detecting corrosion, erosion, and other defects. With its high resolution and accuracy, the PECA probe offers a fast and reliable solution for asset integrity management. If you are looking for state-of-the-art NDT technology that can help you optimize your maintenance and inspection programs, this pulsed eddy current array probe delivers.
