Position Overview :

The Vice President, Sales - Americas is responsible for the development and growth of sales in the Americas in a direct sales and distributor management environment. This role is part of a Regional team. As VP, Sales Americas, the incumbent will work closely with Technical sales, Business Units, Marketing and the delivery operations to build and close business within the Americas. This is a senior management role, leading a team of direct sales and technical reports in the sales, service & support function. This role requires the ability to lead and develop a highly talented sales team. The incumbent will support his/her team in discovering, developing and nurturing new opportunities by expanding their skills. The position is based in Deer Park, TX, USA, and requires extensive travel.

Responsabilities :

  • Exceed financial objectives assigned by the Senior Vice President, Global Sales.
  • Maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team by helping them execute their Account Business Plans, improve their selling skills and monitor and report performance.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement a region-specific sales plan for the accomplishment of objectives using Eddyfi’s defined sales processes.
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers to optimize business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to monitor sales team performance and plan action items for improvements.
  • Provide market intelligence input to Product Managers and the Management team to optimize development and forecast accurately.
  • Produce monthly reports outlining both current and proposed activities, customer visits, revenue statuses, and revenue forecasts.
  • Track and reinforce measures of sales force effectiveness (i.e., adherence to strategy, tactical implementation, use of digital sales tools, proper use of funds, reach and frequency on targets) to meet regional and corporate sales objectives.
  • Develop long term relationships with customers and partners’ Executives and key decision makers of targeted companies.
  • Become a trusted advisor to clients, and lead and mentor others to do the same.
  • Maintenance and development of the customer pipeline in accordance with Eddyfi Sales process, commercial guidelines, and revenue recognition rules.
  • Ensure real-time CRM usage for opportunities” update from the sales team in term of SRV, timeline and forecast accuracy within Eddyfi’s CRM solution, and ensure sales documentations to support revenue booking.

What we're looking for:

Experience :

  • 15 + years of proven success in a sales, account management and/or business development role with quota carrying (ideally for NDT solutions or B2B solutions with long and complex sales cycles).
  • Experience in a sales management role and with a distribution channel network.
  • Thorough commercial and analytical skills to help identify market trends and opportunities for a given territory, refining business and account plans to exploit such opportunities.
  • Proven experience employing and developing Account Manager teams in most regions within the Americas.

Abilities :

  • Passionate about coaching sales teams in understanding customer businesses, investigating and uncovering their most important problems to solve and matching Eddyfi’s solutions to these problems.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent capabilities in managing, developing others and being a champion in change management.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced creativity, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Advanced written and spoken English. Additional language optional, but a great asset (French, Spanish, Portuguese).
