The Sales Manager is responsible for servicing existing clients and developing new business and increasing company revenue for Eddyfi Technologies within a specific geography or territory. The territory is EMEA, Asia-Pacific. The incumbent must research, target, and identify emerging prospects to create business opportunities and develop new relationships in order to close new business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop territory plans prioritizing leads and opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop both existing and new customers, optimizing; the quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Support and assist the VP Sales to analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to monitor sales team performance and plan action items for improvements.
  • Provide market intelligence input to Business Unit Product Managers to optimize development and to forecast accurately.
  • Research markets and new prospects.
  • Prepare, plan, and develop meetings and presentations.
  • Connect with customers virtually, by phone, or online meeting platforms.
  • Update the CRM with prospect's information, sales contacts, meeting minutes, and tasks such that the forecast accurately reflets the Sales Managers opportunity funnel at all times.
  • Attend internal sales meetings and sales development training.
  • Travel to and from customer locations (driving or flying where required).
  • Administrative tasks such as booking travel and completing expenses.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for

  • Intermediate understanding of Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
  • Basic understanding of team collaboration/communication software such as SharePoint, Teams and Webex.

Required Education

  • Associates Degree in a technical or business-related subject is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related subject is preferred.

Work Experience

  • NDT/NDE and/or Robotics experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 year's business to business sales experience.
  • Experience required in the following vertical market sectors:
    1. Oil & Gas industry, including Midstream pipeline and storage
    2. Refining and petrochemicals
    3. Power Generation, Coal, Cogen, Nuclear
    4. Aerospace and defense
    5. Ship and Marine, including Navy, Coast Guard.
