Position Overview

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is motivated to help grow the Company’s pipeline by conducting lead generation activities for the most advanced and innovative products in the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) industry. Our SDR is a very precious facilitator between marketing and sales who focuses on prospection, lead qualification and opportunity identification with the objective of transferring valid opportunities to the sales team.

Responsabilities:

  • Executing and coordinating lead prospecting initiatives (outbound campaigns, including cold calls and emailing strategies) in international markets;
  • Qualifying inbound marketing-generated leads and identifying sales opportunities;
  • Conducting high-level qualification calls (discovery conversations);
  • Setting appointments for sales managers with sales-ready leads;
  • Documenting interactions with leads in the marketing automation software (HubSpot) and use the company’s CRM (Salesforce.com);
  • Participating to the elaboration of creative and efficient lead generation initiatives;
  • Supporting Marketing and Product Management in the strategy around new product introduction (NPI);
  • Following up with leads that are not sales-ready and develop relationships;
  • Maintaining regular communication/coordination with Sales Managers and Inside Sales in various territories;

What We're Looking For :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing/communication or any relevant field
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in sales/marketing/customer service
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with exceptional listening skills (to pinpoint customer pain) and a positive phone presence
  • Fluent in English; Spanish will be considered an asset
  • Good knowledge of sales development, marketing, and communication strategies
  • Curious with a strong desire to quickly learn about a high-technology sector NDT
  • Experience in lead management and CRM tools will be considered an asset
  • Team player with ability to work independently and with remote collaborators in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and in MS Office
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, confident, and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with rejection
  • Flexibility and versatility – priorities change
