Do you want to contribute to the development of the most advanced inspection solutions in non-destructive testing? Do you want to participate, among other things, in the creation of high-value industrial systems and contribute to their deployment? Are you passionate and want to use your expertise in product design and thus actively participate in the different stages of these projects? Eddyfi is looking for an Ultrasonic CND Applications Expert to contribute to the success of current projects and those of tomorrow.

In this role you will have to:

  • Actively participate in the specifications and application validation tests of industrial CND Ultrasound Multi-element systems.
  • Provide judgment and analysis as a specialist with regard to customer requests and propose the best industrial solutions for the targeted application.
  • Carry out feasibility studies to demonstrate the potential of Multi-element Ultrasound techniques, and write summary reports.
  • Support the sales team during meetings with customers regarding Multi-Element Ultrasound products and applications with respect to complex technical problems.
  • In collaboration with the sales team, prepare technical and commercial proposals for Multi-Element Ultrasound application development projects.
  • Share your experience and analyzes within the Multi-element Ultrasound Applications team and the entire network of Eddyfi technical specialists.

As an Application Expert, you will actively participate in sales support by answering technical questions and suggesting standard and custom products. You will use your responsiveness, your analytical skills and your interpersonal skills to meet customer needs. You will also act as a specialist for customer support and training.

The sought profile:

  • You have a degree in physics, acoustics, electrical engineering, materials science or another related discipline.
  • You have two to eight years of relevant experience.
  • You have knowledge of ultrasound and other non-destructive testing techniques (an asset).
  • You are bilingual (English and French).
  • You have proven experience in customer relations (training, assistance, negotiation).
  • You have good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • You have experience in Python and/or LabView programming (an asset).
  • You are rigorous and concerned about a job well done.
  • You are available for occasional travel in France or abroad.
