Spotted far from home, the long range Inuktun Versatrax 300™ pipe crawler is currently being rented by Accessential for a pipeline inspection in Lephalale, a coal mining town in the Limpopo province. The inspection is for the Mokolo Crocodile project, a two year assignment to evaluate and repair a 40 kilometre water pipeline.

This pipeline, a gravity fed water main for a mining site, is a total of 42,000 metres long with access at 14 different locations. The 26 inch water main is made of carbon steel pipe and has a 230 metre elevation change. Enter the Inuktun Versatrax 300™, the solution to ultra-long range pipe inspection challenges. Able to inspect more than two kilometres of pipe in a single run, the Versatrax 300™ includes a Spectrum 120HD™ PTZ camera, an auxiliary camera, multiple sensor options, and is operable in pipe as small as 12 inch (300mm) internal diameter.
