Eddyfi’s management team is composed of seasoned NDT experts and professionals.
Martin drives Eddyfi’s overall strategic vision. He acquired a wealth of experience in engineering, sales, marketing, and business management, while working in Canada, the US, and Europe. Martin was vice president of the Power Generation division at Zetec between 2007 and 2010. He was also the general manager of Zetec’s Canadian office.
Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University and an MBA from Duke University.
Louis-Georges is rich of over 18 years of experience and acted as CFO at companies such as Groupe Alta, Biogénie/EnGlobe and Unipex. For the six years prior to joining Eddyfi, he was CFO at Groupe Unipex, a company mainly active in the development and marketing of cosmetic active ingredients. He contributed to the success of Unipex which enjoyed an impressive growth on the international market, combining organic growth and strategic acquisitions, before being successfully sold to new owners in 2015.
Louis-Georges is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a MBA from Laval University.
Marc has a long experience in electromagnetic inspection acquired at R/D Tech, Olympus NDT, and Eddyfi where he was instrumental in developing ECT, RFT, MFL, IRIS, and ECA probes. He was the MS5800 and the OmniScan ECA product manager at Olympus NDT.
Marc holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering physics and a master’s degree in metallurgical engineering. He has also pursued doctoral studies in induced eddy currents thermography.
Étienne occupied numerous management positions overseeing sales teams, implementing marketing strategies, as well as managing innovation in such major and expanding international high-technology companies as EXFO, TeraXion, and Optel Vision. From 2015 to 2017, he was vice president, and then president of Optel Vision. From 2003 to 2015, he held the position of vice president of the Test and Measurement Division and of Company Marketing.
Étienne holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering Université de Montréal—École polytechnique de Montréal and business master’s degree from École nationale supérieure des télécommunications de Bretagne.
A professional engineer and graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada, Simon holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering physics and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. Over the course of his career, Simon has held key positions in several organizations such as the DRDC, SNC Technologies (now General Dynamics), R/D Tech, Olympus NDT, and INO.
Through the years, Simon has built extensive international business experience in various markets.
Jim has more than 25 years of experience in the field of NDT, working for a number of organizations, such as GE, SGS, RWE, and R/D Tech. A member of the British Institute of NDT (BINDT), he has been involved in many aspects of NDT, primarily in the oil and gas and power generation industries.
John has over two decades of purchasing, continuous improvement, and operational management experience acquired at STERIS, EXFO, and Zetec. John has come to be known for the operational efficiency of the teams he manages.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is a certified lean manufacturing black belt.

Over the last 10 years, Louis has held various positions for manufacturers of advanced NDT instruments. Before joining Eddyfi, Louis worked for Sonatest and Zetec, where he was involved with product development and driving the global product marketing strategy.
Louis holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA with honors from Laval University.
