TSC, part of Eddyfi Technologies, confirms a long-term agreement with Ashtead Technology for the rentals of ACFM instruments in the offshore market. Under the agreement, Ashtead will carry the Amigo™, U31™ subsea systems, and the new PACE® instrument worldwide.
This move by TSC/Eddyfi Technologies confirms a change of strategy determined to better cooperate and leverage other industry players such as Ashtead Technology. Martin Thériault, Eddyfi president and CEO says: “TSC started renting directly in 2013 and in direct competition with other industry rental houses. This was attractive from a business standpoint, but it brought significant challenges in terms of global offices and logistics. Ashtead already benefits from a global presence in subsea and topside rentals, and has been strongly committed to ACFM technology for over 20 years. This deal will allow TSC and Eddyfi Technologies to refocus on technology and high-level engineering to help the industry benefit from ACFM in a new way.”
